Here you will find information about one of the oldest mixed voice Choral Societies in the country and possibly the most western! Cornwall is an area with a rich history of choirs and singing and we are proud to be a part of that. This site contains details of our past, present and future with our 150th anniversary behind us.

Penzance Choral Society is a mixed choir of over 100 voices. We perform two main concerts a year, one in May and one at Christmas, and also sing in local churches at special events. Our repertoire is wide ranging, with recent concerts including works by: Bach, Handel, Haydn, Puccini, Mozart, Elgar, Verdi and Vaughn Williams.

Our principal concert venue is St Mary's Church, Penzance and our rehearsals take place at Humphry Davy School, Coombe Road, Penzance.
